Reddy Want Minister Post To Join TRS?

Amid strong speculation that Congress senior leader Komati Venkat Reddy and his younger brother and MLC Rajagopal Reddy will switch loyalties to ruling TRS, Venkat Reddy called on Telangana Irrigation minister T Harish Rao at the latter’s residence in ministers quarters in Hyderabad.

While Reddy claimed he met Rao to extend birthday greetings, political circles are saying that Reddy brothers would join TRS on June 6 in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

In the one to one meeting, Reddy discussed about his political prospects in TRS. He reportedly insisted ministerial berth in KCR cabinet. However, Rao did not give any assurances on posts to the Reddy brothers.

Speaking to newsmen , Reddy ruled out joining the TRS. He would stay in Congress and will serve the party until he is in politics.
