Solid Premieres For Gentleman

After the back to back successes of his last two films Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha, Nani has earned himself a reputation of a bankable hero in overseas and of course in the Telugu states.

While BBM grossed over $1.5 million in its full run, KVPG fell just short of the $1 million mark. With such a tremendous track record, Nani’s Gentleman was sold for a heavy price in overseas. The film managed to get the highest ever overseas release in Nani’s career with nearly 125 screens.

Gentleman released today and garnered decent response from critics and Nani’s fans. The film’s interesting trailer has worked in its favour and the film managed to reach the expectations in the twin Telugu states and in overseas today.

In the US alone, Gentleman grossed a decent $71,938 from 120 locations, with 5 more screens yet to be reported. With the weekend advantage waiting boost the collections, we will have to wait for a few days until next week to see the film’s actual strength.
