All eyes on Special package/status Announcement

Following the series of events in Delhi from this morning, union Home Minister is reportedly scheduled with a press meet to make an official announcement at 8:30 PM. It seems that discussions between centre and state governments have reached an end. The TDP-BJP MPs have been working over the past two years to get special status for Andhra Pradesh and apparently, this meeting is a very major one for people of AP.

Earlier today, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu received a call from union Home department to finalize on this but he expressed discontent to turn up prior an official statement from centre. However, TDP’s union minister Sujana Chowdary is playing Babu’s part in Delhi.

So, it can clearly be observed how much of anticipation the press meet by HM Arun Jaitley is surrounded with. However, rumors are very effective that there could be a special package declaration but not special status which is being demanded by people of Andhra Pradesh.

Also, Actor and Politician Pawan Kalyan has aimed at centre and state with ‘Athma Gourava Sabha’ scheduled on 9th September in Kakinada. All the eyeballs in AP are pointed at Arun Jaitley’s press meet and we’ll come back with the follow up news soon.
