Babu A Part-time Politician: Pawan

pawan kalyan janasenaJana Sena President Pawan Kalyan responded to the constant criticism by several leaders about his ‘part-time politics’ and one-day political stints. In his latest media interviews following the Seemandhrula Athma Gourava Sabha, Pawan continued to target the TDP leaders.

When asked about his ‘part-time politics’, Pawan shot back asking to show him any leader who is into full-time politics. Pawan stated that there is not a single leader like Mahatma Gandhi in today’s politics.

Pawan then made a striking comment that Chandrababu, Sujana Chowdary and TG Venkatesh have their own businesses and that even they can be termed as ‘part-time politicians’. Pawan then said if they can pursue their businesses while being elected legislators, why can’t he act in movies and do politics simultaneously.

Talking about the tragic stampede that took the life of a fan in Kakinada, Pawan said that established political parties have event managers who organize their meetings. Pawan then said that he will never organize public meetings in the future.

Pawan also said that special status is not a sentiment but a necessity for the welfare of Andhra Pradesh. Targeting Chandrababu, Pawan wondered how the AP CM was okay to accept centre’s special package when the state is yet to get the Hudhud relief package as promised by the centre in 2014.
