‘Vote Us and Get Cancer treatment for Free’

To lure the voters, the Congress party has launched election campaign with a slogan – ‘vote us and get free cancer treatment’ – in the poll bound Punjab state.

As the Sikh dominating state is emerged as one of the highest number of cancer patients registered in the country, Punjab congress committee President Amarinder Singh said the incidence of mortality rate of cancer patients was also high in the state because of costly treatment.

If people voted congress to power, the party will provide free treatment to cancer patients across the state. The party also supply free power up to 300 units to the farmers. The other freebies are wheat, sugar and tea powder supply to every poor family and waiver of all farm loans.
