Chief Minister attacked with Eggs

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was attacked with eggs by opposition Congress activists during the CM visit to Mayurbhanj district.

Some of the unknown persons allegedly hurled eggs at the pandal where Patnaik was present at Suliapada government high school field. The alerted security forces and police personnel immediately swung into action and dispersed the mob. It was not new to Naveen Patnaik to facing such attacks. Earlier also, the CM was attacked with eggs.

Police identified one congress activist Rishitosh Patra arrested by police on the charge of hurling the egg targeting the chief minister. However, Police maintained that the egg was not hit the CM.  The opposition Congress and BJP have been fighting against the government for its anti- poor policies.
