Insane: 2 Fans Commit Suicide For Jayalalithaa

Fans’ sycophancy in displaying their love for Tamil Nadu CM Amma Jayalalithaa often makes headlines as it goes overboard. In what could be seen as extreme fanaticism, two diehard followers of Jayalalithaa committed suicide after they were worried about her ill health.

According to the media reports, Sargunam and Saravanan, two loyal workers of AIADMK and mad followers of Puratchi Thalavi, ended their lives praying for Jayalalithaa’s good health.

Apparently, Sargunam doused himself in kerosene on Tuesday after demanding Apollo hospital authorities and the government to reveal Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s real health condition. Sargunam succumbed to burn injuries at the Kilpauk Medical College (KMC) hospital on Thursday.

On the other hand, Saravanan, a 60-year-old ardent admirer of Jayaa, had consumed poison and died on the morning of 5 October after he was extremely worried about Jayalalithaa’s poor health.

It may be recalled that at least 10 fans committed suicide and 6 fans died of heart attack after Karnataka High Court passed an order to jail Jayaa in the disproportionate assets case last year.
