This Diwali, TDP’s bonanza for Lokesh?

With Diwali festival just around the corner, we are likely to witness some big political shuffles which are on the cards in Andhra Pradesh. As already the chief minister of AP Chandrababu Naidu asked the people to take the hint of having Nara Lokesh in the Cabinet, some big moves are likely come our way.

According to the latest political reports of AP, Chandrababu Naidu is expected to announce a cabinet reshuffle in next few days. If reports are to be believed, we see major changes with cabinet expanding to 26 from 20 members.

On top of it, Chandrababu is expected to launch his son Nara Lokesh as minister for IT in the cabinet reshuffling and this will mark his official entry into real-time politics. Like KTR in Telangana, the 33-year old politician is expected to play a bigger role in both government and in his party (TDP).

Mr. Naidu, who is unsatisfied with the work of some cabinet ministers, feels Diwali is the tentative day to show them the doors and also cabinet reshuffle. According to AP political circles, Party State president Kala Venkata Rao will take up the Rural Development & Housing Sanitation ministry by replacing Kimidi Mrunalini.
