I lost 100 acres in the united AP – KCR

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao disclosed his 100 acres of land was acquired by the then AP government for the construction of a irrigation project.

“I lost 100 acres of land at Upper Manair Dam constructed on Godavari river in 1990s”, he said in the Assembly while introducing new state owned Land acquirement act in the Assembly. He knew the sufferings of the farmers who lost their lands under various projects because he was also one of the victims in the previous years.

The new act will provide maximum compensation to the displaced particularly farmers who gave away their lands for the construction of irrigation projects and reservoirs in the T state, the Chief minister said the opposition should stop mudslinging on his government and support the initiative.
