IT Raids: Is Gunasekhar Benami of Narayana?

As part of the massive IT raids’ drive to unearth the black money, the Income Tax (IT) sleuths conducted raids on the properties of Gunasekhar Yadav, a popular doctor and former member of the Medical Council of India, on Tuesday.

This incident created a stir in the political circles of Andhra Pradesh as Yadav is a family friend and rumored to be benami of AP Municipal Affairs Minister Narayana.

Reportedly, a team of 27 IT Sleuths, raided on Yadav’s house in Tirupati on Tuesday night. Simultaneous raids were also conducted on the residences of his family members and associates. Reports say that huge amount of cash and gold were seized in the raids.

It is rumored that Yadav has accumulated huge unaccented assets with the help minister Narayana. ‘Anticipating that Yadav could lead the IT officials to him, Narayana has already started lobbying at party supremo and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to divert the sleuths using his influence in Delhi,’ say some reports.
