KCR Opens Up On His Expensive House

When Telangana CM KCR’s new palatial residence and camp office, Pragathi Bhavan, we inaugurated a month ago, there were numerous accusations against the TRS supremo for splurging crores of public money.

Addressing the house during Assembly sessions, KCR said Pragathi Bhavan is not just his residence, but people’s property.

In a stern voice, KCR questioned the protesting opposition leaders if Pragathi Bhavan really has 150 rooms as being propagated by them.

KCR further reasoned that his earlier camp office had a limited space that could not accommodate hoards of ministers, officials and bureaucrats and even common people who meet him regularly.

On the other hand, the previous camp office which was built by late CM YSR had parking space for only CM’s car and that prompted him to construct a huge building.

KCR also said that he is committed to his ambition of building 2.60 lakh double bedroom houses for poor people and that his government has procured nearly 650 acres of land in Hyderabad for the purpose.

KCR also said he has waived off Rs.3,920 crore loan borrowed by poor people across the state.
