AP Wins State of The Year Award

The truncated state of Andhra Pradesh has been adjudged with the ‘State of The Year’ for the year 2016 as part of the India Business Leader Awards organised by CNBC TV18. It’s learnt that AP has been chosen unanimously for the award and AP state government is quite upbeat about it. CM Chandrababu Naidu himself is going to receive the award personally on March 23.

Taking it to Twitter, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu shared, “Glad to learn that AP is selected unanimously as the ‘State of the Year’ by CNBC TV 18 as part of the India Business Leader Awards.Will be collecting the award on 23rd March 2017. We thank the special jury for this recognition.”

Ajeya Kallem, New CS of AP

Meanwhile, AP has got new Chief Secretary as the incumbent CS SP Tucker has completed his tenure. Ajeya Kallem is going to take charge as the new CS from Wednesday.

Naidu said, “Best wishes to S.P.Tucker who completes his tenure as Chief Secretary today. Wishing him success ahead.” He quickly added, “Congratulations to Ajeya Kallam who will be serving as the Chief Secretary from tomorrow. Best wishes!”
