Sundar Pichai takes home $200M in compensation

The Chief Executive Officer of Google, Sundar Pichai has reportedly took home USD 6,50,000 as part of salary for last fiscal year and that’s measly smaller than what he earner in 2015 – USD 6,52,000. Incidentally, the 44-year old boss of Google received a stock award of $198.7 million for 2016 fiscal, almost double his previous year’s stock award of $99.8 million.

Sundar Pichai, who’s elevated to the top position of tech giant Google in 2015, has got the huge compensation for being the driving force behind several successful product launches, including new smart phones, a virtual reality headset, a router and a voice controller smart speaker.

With this development, Sundar Pichai apparently emerged as highest paid executives in the American IT industry.
