TDP Vs TDP, 2 Dead in Clash

The clash between two groups within TDP in Prakasam district has claimed two lives. Karanam Balaram group and Gottipati group entered into fight while returning from a wedding and this resulted in loss of two lives of Karanam Balaram group.

Yenigeti Ramakoteshwar Rao and Gorantla Anjaiah, two party workers of the TDP, of Balaram group were dead while a few others were injured. Considering the seriousness of the issue, police swiftly stepped in and took control of the situation.

MLC Karanam Balaram visited the victims in the hospital and alleged that Gottipati Ravi Kumar who crossed to TDP from YSRCP was behind these violence. Alleging them as “thieves”, Karanam said that Chilli powder was thrown into eyes by rivals and resorted to violence.

Learning about the incident, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has strongly reacted. He has ordered DGP to probe the issue and take necessary action. Naidu opined that no one can take law into hands and asked  police to punish the culprits behind the tragic incident.
