Die-hard Fan’s Threat To Pawan Kalyan

Released in 2013 amidst high drama, Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s industry hit Atharintiki Dharedi still remains as Pawan’s best overseas performance. The film collected nearly $1.89K and stands fourth in the overall list of highest grossing Telugu films in the US.

However, Pawan’s AD Record seems to be under threat from none other than his die-hard fan and actor Nithiin. Nithiin’s latest release A..Aa is carrying on its carnage on US box-office and the film has already crossed the $1 million mark by Saturday itself.

With nearly 500K gross on Saturday alone, trade circles are predicting that the film will rake in another 450-500K on Sunday to surpass the $1.5 million mark. At this phenomenal rate, it won’t be a surprise if Nithiin’s A..Aa overpowers Pawan’s AD overseas collections by the mid next week.

Incidentally, just like in all his previous films, Nithiin made sure there were enough references to his favorite star Pawan in A..Aa as well and there is also a loyal fan base of Pawan that watched and supported A..Aa and made the film register such a huge success.
