Koratala Replaces Puri Jagannadh?

If reports are anything to go by, producer PVP would be launching Karnataka Ex Chief Minister HD Kumara Swamy’s son Nikhil Kumar soon. Buzz is that the movie would be directed by Koratala Siva who has had two successive hits Mirchi, Srimanthudu. Koratala-PVP would join forces and the movie would go onto floors once Koratala gets free from his present commitment Janatha Garage.

Nikhil is currently working on his debut in Kannada Jaguar which is touted to be made with a whopping budget of Rs 20 Crore which is highest-ever in Kannada. What’s more interesting is that the film’s connection with Tollywood. Well-known writer and SS Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad has provided story for Jaguar.

Earlier, it was reported that director Puri Jagannadh would direct Nikhil’s Telugu debut. But things changed and Koratala is now considered for the Nikhil’s launch film. Confirmation from PVP and Koratala are awaited.
