I’ll Vote For Pelli Choopulu Not Baahubali

No one ever imagined that Pelli Choopulu, a small film made with a budget of a mere 1 crore, would make 20 times profits for its buyers and makers. This sweet and charming film has been the talk of the town ever since it’s release.

Pelli Choopulu’s success has been lauded by all the who’s who of Tollywood. In a thank you meet that was held recently, veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao hailed the film to no limits and went on to rate its success above the magnum opus Baahubali.

“If you ask me to choose between Baahubali and Pelli Choopulu, I’ll vote for Pelli Choopulu. What is you budget and what is the return on your investment? That’s the right standard for gauging a film’s success,” said Dasari.

Dasari went on to say that if Tollywood can continue making more films like Pelli Choopulu, we can surely overtake other creatively superior film industries like Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi and that the entire country will look up to Tollywood.
