Pawan, Don’t Question But Beg

aLooks like the row over special status to Andhra Pradesh will not subside anytime soon. Following KVP’s Private Member Bill fiasco with BJP’s vehement backtracking in the Parliament, the Oppisition parites has called for a statewide bandh today.

After lashing out at BJP for betraying the people of Andhra Pradesh, CPI Secretary Ramakrishna came down heavily on Jana Sena chief and film star Pawan Kalyan for his silence over the most important special status issue which has left the people of AP in utter distress.

The CPI leader mocked Pawan saying that the Jana Sena leader had entered politics with a motto of ‘questioning’ the injustice in the society, but ended up campaigning for Modi. Ramakrishna further said that Pawan need not question but should at least beg Modi for the special status.

“Pawan Kalyan will end up being a betrayer of Andhra Pradesh if he didn’t end his silence and open up on the special status issue”, Ramakrishna said. The CPI leader also suggested Pawan to learn from Chandrababu Naidu who is at least opposing Modi’s government over its betrayal to AP.
