AP Leaders Lack Sincerity & People Lack Clarity – KTR

Responding to the ongoing pandemonium in Andhra Pradesh over the Special Category Status (SCS), Telangana IT Minister KTR said that AP leaders lack sincerity whereas common public lack clarity.

KTR said that irrespective of the party, every leader in AP is only trying to get upper hand on leaders of other parties and no one is actually thinking of the course of action to achieve the special category for the state. He cited the example of his father, the founder of TRS and the current Telangana CM KCR, and said that a 14 year long struggle and fight was done in Telangana to make people a part of Telangana movement.

‘I don’t see such kind of integrated movement in Andhra Pradesh. Telangana people came out on roads for a separate state but no such situation has been witnessed in AP so far. To speak frankly, AP people lack clarity on special status. They know neither the benefits of Special Status nor the loss if the Status was not allotted. No leader in AP is trying to explain people about the essence of the special status and involve them in the movement. Everyone is just either uttering dialogues in intermittent meetings or fighting in assembly to dominate others,’ KTR said.
