Another ‘Mega Remake’ or ‘Mega Rumor’?

allu-arjunaAt a time when the top mega heroes are busy with remakes of Tamil films, any news linking a ‘Mega family hero’ and ‘Remake’ is pushing fans into confusion.

Just a few days ago, news emerged that megastar Chiranjeevi and Allu Arjun would play father and son in the Telugu remake of then yet-to-be-released Kannada film ‘Doddmane Hudga’. After that film’s release, all the much hyped talk of remake faded away.

As per the latest reports, Allu Arjun is now planning to remake another yet-to-be-released Kannada movie, ‘Badmash’. It is also heard that PVP is in discussions to grab the Telugu remake rights after Bunny expressed his interest in remaking this film, which will hit screens on October 28. It is already confirmed that Bunny will next act in Harish Shankar’s DJ followed by a Lingusamy project.

When did he watch this film to take the big decision of remake it? This looks to be yet another publicity gimmick by the makers of Kannada film ‘Badmash’ to create hype for their soon to be released film. Mega heroes look to be an easy target to spread the remake rumors as three of the top actors of this family are currently busy with remake projects.

Chiranjeevi is remaking Tamil blockbuster ‘Kaththi’ whereas Ram Charan is remaking another Tamil hit ‘Thani Oruvan’. Pawan Kalyan is well ahead of these two as he has signed to act in the remakes of two Tamil films of Ajith.
