Bobby Demanding Rs 2 Crore After Sardaar?

Writer-turned-director Bobby is apparently seeking a whopping Rs 2 Crore as his remuneration for his next with actor Ravi Teja. Buzz has it that Bobby was only paid Rs 60 Lakh for his debut film Power. Although he teamed up with a star like Pawan Kalyan for Sardaar Gabbar Singh, the film ended up as a Box Office disaster. Yet Bobby is said to be seeking hike in his pay and this seems to be not going well with producer who is just only one-film (Chuttalabbayi) old in the industry. Even with his debut film Chuttalabbayi, producer Ram Talluri hardly made any money.

Going into details, Bobby is penning screenplay and going to helm the film for which he wants 2 Crore as his fee. Since Kona Venkat is providing story, he wants his cut of Rs 1.5 Crore plus Hindi remake rights. It means, only for Story, Screenplay, and Direction, the cost accounts more than 4 Crore for producer. Including Ravi Teja’s remuneration and heroine’s remuneration, it wouldn’t be less than Rs 15 Crore and this is said to have put producer in a quandary who is now contemplating to back out from the project.

Even Ravi Teja’s last film Bengal Tiger too was an average grosser, with this producer is now caught in two minds whether to take up the project or to shelve it.
Meanwhile, already rumours has it that the film is mostly shelved unless the director,writers cut down their pay.

Already, Ravi Teja’s two other projects Yevaro Okaru and Robinhood have been shelved and he has only one film with debutant director Vikram Siri.
