Comedian Embarrasses Nayanthara?

South Indian top actress Nayanthara is often criticized for not promoting her films. She has even skipped the audio launch events of her films, on occasions. Insiders say that no producer dares to complain against her as she makes sure to have ‘No Promotions’ clause in her contract.

Interestingly, Tamil actor Vivekh, who is known as one of the top comedians, is now being accused of taking an indirect dig at Nayanthara’s attitude of not attending the move promotions. At a recent promotional event of ‘Kashmora’, Karthi, Sri Divya and Vivekh were in attendance but Nayanthara wasn’t, predictably.

Speaking at the event, after stating that Nayanthara has not attended the event, Vivekh has reportedly made a generic statement, “a few actresses don’t attend the promotions of their films and also give clever reasons. They say their films don’t do well if they attend promotions. Wouldn’t the producers feel happy if these actresses have similar sentiments while taking the final payment?”

Even though Vivekh didn’t take Nayanthara’s name, it was projected as if he had targeted her since she is the top heroine who doesn’t attend promotions.

“An appeal to media. I stated tat heroines shd attend promos.i didn’t pinpoint Nayan.i m a huge fan of her. Plz recall my tweets on Nayan,” the star comedian tweeted after the controversy had erupted.
