If the movie lovers have already got over of the shocking TRP Rating (7.52) of superstar Mahesh Babu’s disaster film ‘Brahmotsavam’, we have another such shocker for you.

Intelligent filmmaker Sukumar’s first production venture ‘Kumari 21F’, which has struck gold at the box office, has reportedly garnered one of the lowest TRP Ratings of this year, 2.46. If the film had been a flop at box office it would have been understandable but the bold drama was a solid hit. Interestingly, both Brahmotsavam and Kumari 21F were telecast by Zee Telugu.

Now, if we analyze a little bit about what went wrong in the case of ‘Kumari 21F’, the utterly bold and vulgar at times film couldn’t attract the family audiences, who contribute lion’s share for the success of films on TV.

Although the youth were excited to watch the films’ premier on TV, they had to look for alternatives after finding too many cuts, understandably the adult dialogues and scenes, which were deleted for the convenience of families. Another reason is the telecast time, afternoon.

Channels should act wise before buying satellite rights of bold films as they could neither please families nor attract youth with horde of cuts.
