Appatlo Okadundevadu is My Relaunch film : Nara Rohith

Actor Nara Rohith is juggling with both acting and production. As his maiden full-fledged production Appatlo Okadundevadu is gearing up for release tomorrow, Rohith is keeping his fingers crossed. Although he was part of production for his last film Asura, Rohith describes Appatlo Okadundevadu as his debut production given that he has become hands on producer with it.

Banam, Appatlo Okadundevadu

Appatlo Okadundevadu is very close to my heart. I thoroughly enjoyed working for the film. After my debut Banam, I am equally excited for the release of Appatlo Okadundevadu since I’m very confident on its content.

I’m so impressed with the story that I decided to produce it on my own. This helped me to have a total control on the film. I could able to do even reshoots for betterment of the film. I doubt whether it was possible if it was any other producer.

Back and forth screenplay

The film will have back and forth screenplay. The film varies from present to early 90s (92 to 96). It’s a non-linear screenplay. The film is told from the perspectives of nine different characters in the film. It’s a unique attempt.

On paper it might look risky, but after the film shaped up, it isn’t. Movie has come out very well.

The film is not confusing at all and is easily understandable to even common audience.

Again Cop?

Well, I might have done a cop role in Rowdy Fellow and a jailer in Asura, but the cop role I did in Appatlo Okadundevadu is totally different. The character isn’t a regular one.

I play a Muslim cop. It helped me to learn the nuances of the role including doing Namaz.

Sri Vishnu

Vishnu is my childhood friend. He is a good actor. I’ve been waiting to do a good film with Vishnu for longtime and AO is going to satiate that.

I did the role as I thought I’d be apt for it. It’s just coincidence that the film is releasing after Jyo Achyutananda which again is a multi-starrer film. Appatlo Okadundevadu has no hero or villain. It’s about my perspective versus Vishnu’s perspective in the film. The story is the real hero.

GPSK

Easily, it’s the most awaited film in 2017. Fortunately, I got to see few crucial portions of Gautamiputra Satakarni. I was speechless and spellbound . I’m looking forward to see the film on big screen.

New Year Resolution

I told myself that from now onwards I’ll give ample space for each film of mine. I’ll give myself to the film during its post-production work and wait till the final copy is ready. I take this from 2016. Had I spent more time on my films and gave more inputs, probably, the result of my films would had been better.
