Katamarayudu Inspired From Rowdy?

The pre-look posters of Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu have come as a dismay to many including a section of fans who were expecting high from their matinee idol. While the two out of the three pre-looks released focused only the actor’s slippers and lungi, the third pre-look too was no different as it shown a glimpse of PK from the back.

As soon as it is unveiled, people started trolling it by comparing it with Ram Gopal Varma’s Rowdy featuring Mohan Babu in a deglam avatar and clad in lungi.

Since both the films are set against the faction backdrop in Rayalaseema milieu, naturally many are drawing comparisons to the looks of Mohan Babu and Pawan Kalyan. Even attitude wise, both the actors look same inviting flak from netizens.

While the sources close to production house rebuffing the criticism and saying that the strategy to reveal four pre-look posters is to build buzz before revealing the final and first look of Pawan in Katamarayudu getup, many are wondering what is there to hide about the actor’s first look as Katamarayudu given that the film is remake of Veeram that was originally played by Ajith in Tamil.

Meanwhile, the teaser trailer of the film is expected to be unveiled on Dec 31st night. Let’s hope at least the teaser will be refreshing, novel.
