Not only Nandamuri fans but every Telugu movie lover is proudly awaiting the release of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s landmark 100th movie, Gautamiputra Satakarni, ever since the film’s breathtaking trailer was unveiled a week ago.

Director Krish’s passion towards showcasing the legendary saga of ancient Telugu emperor Gautamiputra Satakarni has touched every Telugu movie lover’s heart, which is deeply filled with a sense of pride.

Amidst such goodwill around the movie, a small comment made by Krish while concluding his speech at Gautamiputra Satakarni’s audio launch yesterday made a section of Mega fans troll him badly on social media.

At the end of his speech, an emotional Krish said “Samayam ledu mithrularaa.. Sankranthi ki cinema..Khabardaar”. Mega fans thought Krish was slyly throwing a challenge to the makers of Khaidi No.150, who are still not announcing their movie’s release date.

Quickly reacting to the social media backlash, Krish requested fans not to misunderstand him as he admires and respects the entire Mega family heroes. Krish revealed that Chiranjeevi personally invited him to his house, hugged and appreciated him after watching Kanche.

Krish also said that Bunny was the hero in his second film Vedam and that he has been a close friend ever since, while Varun Tej is the hero in his fourth movie. Krish also said that Charan too is a dear friend even before he entered movies.

Krish went on to explain that he made the ‘Khabardaar’ statement out of his angst on the world failing to recognize our Telugu legacy and cater a special chapter to it in the annals of history.
