Andhra Pradesh State HRD Minister Srinivasa Rao’s son Ganta Ravi Teja set for his Tollywood debut is old news by now. The latest is that his debut is a remake film. He is doing a Tamil remake Sethupathi, which is the story of an honest police officer.

Senior director Jayanth C Paranjee, who is helming the film, divulged the news. Jayanth said to have adapted the whole film and re-written scenes and brought fresh look to the film keeping newcomer Ravi Teja in mind. Ravi is stepping into the shoes of Vijay Sethupathi who played the lead role in the original.

Jayanth said that the film is like an adaptation although the remake rights have been bought.

The film is not just crucial for Ganta Ravi but vital for director Jayanth who is coming back after a long gap of 6 years – i.e after Pawan Kalyan’s Teenmaar (2011).
