Early this year, one of Tollywood’s top production houses PVP Cinema teamed up with Vamshi Paidipally and gave a heartwarming movie in the form of Nagarjuna-Karthi’s Oopiri.
Thanks to the film’s critical and commercial success, PVP has signed on Vamshi for yet another movie which will feature Superstar Mahesh Babu, who is compensating them for Brahmotsavam’s losses. The project was even announced officially on Mahesh’s birthday in August.
But in an unexpected twist, the Vamshi Paidipally-Mahesh Babu project landed in Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt’s hands and PVP Cinema had to exit from the project. Today, PVP Cinema lodged a complaint against Vamshi Paidipally with the Producer’s Council.
In its complaint, PVP Cinema alleged that Vamshi Paidipally has breached their contract and sought action against his backtracking. Before the commencement of Oopiri, PVP lodged a similar complaint against Shruthi Haasan, who walked out of Oopiri to act in Thala Ajith’s Vedalam.
