Vangaveeti Is A Hit There!

Made on meager budgets with unfamiliar casting, Ram Gopal Varma learnt this knack of selling his films like a hot cake. He repeated the same with ‘Vangaveeti.’ Though produced by Dasari Kiran Kumar, it is RGV’s brand and controversial story element helped the film to get on peak pre release promotions. Dasari Kiran also spent a lavish budget of more than Rs. 1 Crore for pre release event which was a big boost for ‘Vangaveeti.’

All these gimmicks worked in their favor. While ‘Vangaveeti’ opened to decent revenues in first weekend all over Telangana, it performed outstandingly in Krisha district. As per the reports we received, ‘Vangaveeti’ is going to end as a hit film in this region with guaranteed profits. Apparently, this is a movie meant to connect well with Krishna audience because this is their own story and about a leader whom they knew closely.

After raking Rs. 40 Lakhs share till Sunday, it is also heard that revenues have dropped drastically in last two days. Yet, ‘Vangaveeti’ is a safe hit there in Krishna.
