Over the course of time, we have seen fans erecting statues of actors, politicians, iconic personalities etc. Coming to film industry, it is very rare to see a technician having statue set up for him.

Crazy director Puri Jagannath is one of the very few filmmakers who have manged to earn an ardent fan base with his films. Puri’s trademark dialogues and ideologies are a big hit with masses and youth. One such group of fans have now erected a statue of Puri in Kondapur village of Karimnagar district.

Puri’s son Akash Puri inaugurated this statue.
