Day 1: ‘Keshava WW Gross of 4.6 crore’

After dominating Tollywood box office for 21 days, Baahubali 2 has finally been pushed to second place on its fourth Friday. And, the film to rake in lion’s share this Friday is Nikhil’s latest release ‘Keshava’.

The interesting promos and seemingly innovative subject have helped the film to collect big numbers in the Telugu states. Film’s producer, Abhishek Pictures have officially said that Keshava collected a worldwide gross of 4.6 crore on Day 1. This is the highest opening in Nikhil’s career. In the US, Keshava collected USD55K from Thursday premieres.

With par reviews, Keshava may post good numbers over the first weekend. The film however will have to put up a consistent performance and rake in as much as it can as highly anticipated Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Ra Randoi Veduka Chooddam’ is slated for release next Friday.
