Biggest Flop, Still A Fav Film For Many

There are certain films which don’t work at box office, but they win the heart of some sections of audience, and attain cult status over the years. Ram Charan’s “Orange” is one such film.

Its 7 years since the release of this Charan-starrer, and it is trending on social media today. The film became a disaster when it released in 2010, and still remains the biggest flop in the actor’s career, but some movie buffs call it the best film yet in the Mega hero’s career.

Many reasons were accredited for the failure of ‘Orange’ like high expectations (it was Charan’s immediate next film after Magadheera), drastic transformation of Charan from Magadheera to a urban lover boy, confusing screenplay, ahead of its time subject etc.

On the other hand, the people who like it, call the film as honest as Charan’s character in the film. The other main reason why ‘Orange’ still remains a favorite film for many is the chartbuster audio. Each and every song composed by Harris Jayaraj for ‘Orange’ had vibrating tune, simple and meaningful lyrics and that instantly catchy feel.

Some films are considered ‘proud flops’ in every hero’s career, and for Charan, its Orange.
