Released in 2015 and 2017 respectively, Baahubali The Beginning and The Conclusion had cost its produces nearly 450 crores. And for the soon to release sci-fi entertainer 2.0, the makers are claiming that they have spent over 500 crores and that 2.0 is India’s most expensive film till date.
However, the ordinary graphics and half-baked visuals are becoming a troll material for netizens. Adding to that, even the trailer failed to create a strong buzz for the film. Shockingly, even though the film’s release is just a couple of days away, there’s not much interest among moviegoers. The general opinion is that November 29 in not an appropriate date for release.
On the other hand, the pre-release promotional posters 2.0’s team is releasing over the last few days are not impressed. Seeing the underwhelming buzz, the makers released a full song and even that failed to create much momentum.
With Rajinikanth and Shankar at the helm, 2.0 may surely get record openings. However, to think that 2.0 will beat Baahubali collections will be preposterous. For Baahubali, movie buffs across the country waited with bated breaths till the film’s release, but same is not the case with 2.0.
