For whatever the reasons that are being heard, one of the most underrated technicians in Tollywood when it comes to music is definitely Mickey J Meyer. Some say that he demands more and some say that he is bit conservative and rigid in his approach, pushing him out of the choices.

After the super success of Mahanati, many owed much credit to Mickey, as his background score surely elevated the film to a new level. And then, some say that he is demanding more than a crore to sign his next films. But the reality is that, when the likes of Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman are charging anywhere between 2-3 crores, is it not worth to pay Mickey a crore?

We hear that Samantha has actually demanded to bring in Mickey for her next film, a remake of a Korean drama being directed by Nandini Reddy for Suresh Productions. After a lot of consultations, Suresh Babu is said to have zeroed Mickey for 60 lakhs of remuneration.

Whatever maybe the price now, Samantha is going to get a terrific output for the film, which could give wings to film’s success at the box office.
