Top 5: Jersey Solid, But Faces Stiff Competition From Kanchana

1) Jersey: Jersey has opened glowing reviews and wonderful word of mouth. It has done very good business in its first weekend all over Telugu states and USA.

However, its business has been affected to an extent by Kanchana 3, which is super sensational in the mass pockets.

Jersey is doing so well in A centers, but it is dominated by Kanchana 3 in B and C centers. Jersey will need to hold its ground in week days as Avengers 4 is arriving on this Friday.

2) Kanchana 3: You may like it or not, but you cannot deny the fact that Kanchana 3 is a success in terms of attracting the masses. The film had a tremendous first weekend especially across single screens and mass pockets.

The film has been turned down by the critics, but that hasn’t dented its performance a bit. It registered housefuls all through the weekend.

3) Chitralahari: Sai Dharam Tej’s Chitralahari has slowed down because of two big new releases. However, it has fetched the much needed hit for the mega hero who suffered a string of flops.

4) Majili: Majili has become the biggest solo earner for Naga Chaitanya. It came at the right time for Chay who had seen a lull in his career post Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam.

We have to see whether he can consolidate his market and be consistent in achieving Rs. 30 crore share.

5) Kalank: The high budget mega Bollywood film Kalank turned out to be a dud in spite of heavy pre release buzz.

It has been one of the rare failures among Bollywood biggies this year.
