When the rumors broke out a month ago that Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is part of Mahesh Babu’s next, the actress has scoffed them off saying that she will be joining a Tamil film and can’t accommodate dates. But then she’s back to Mahesh’s Sarileru Neekevvaru. And how?

Actually, Rashmika is not bothered about sizzling in glamorous roles and doing the lip kissing scenes, but she’s concerned about the ‘substance’ her character will have on the screen. While she agreed to do hero Sivakarthikeyan’s next, even giving up Mahesh Babu’s film, the actress later found out that there is no depth in the character written for her with regards to that Tamil flick.

Taking no time, she has immediately exited out of the Tamil movie and sent signals to director Anil Ravipudi regarding her availability. As this director always writes good characters for heroines, including a bit of comedy and action, Rashmika would have loved to join Sarileru Neekevvaru.

So, directors! From next time, offer something worthy to Rashmika, else she may walk out.
