A..Aa Joins $2 Million Club

Even though the film had a promising pre-release buzz and Trivikram brand value before its release, no one would have predicted such a blockbuster success of A..Aa. The film, which collected nearly 25 crore share in the twin Telugu states, has just entered the much celebrated $2 million club in overseas.

With Friday reported collections ending with $101,890, A..Aa has finally joined the $2 million club, a rare feat only three Tollywood films achieved so far. A..Aa’s total collections until Friday tally up to $2,011,969.

So far, Baahubali ($8.46 m), Srimanthudu ($2.89 m) and Nannaku Prematho ($2.02 m) have the rare honour of surpassing the $2 million milestone. By tonight, A..Aa will overtake NTR’s Nannaku Prematho’s full run collections.

At this pace, A..Aa may even reach the $2.5 million, while beating Srimanthudu could be a Herculean task. Incidentally, this is the first ever $2 million film for Trivikram, Samantha and Nithiin.
