Janatha Garage Rights @ Outright Price

When a star hero teams up with a successful director, expectations will be hiked automatically. Likewise, buzz is unbelievable on young tiger NTR’s ongoing project Janatha Garage being directed by Koratala Siva whose first two films Mirchi and Srimanthudu were blockbusters.

Distributors are keen on associating with this highly anticipated movie, so are betting big. As per reliable sources, S Creations has bought Janatha Garage Guntur and Krishna rights for Rs 8.34 crores outright price, which excludes all other expenses like prints and publicity. As per the deal, the distributors will not get back any amount if the movie flops at box office.

Janatha Garage overseas rights were sold for whopping amount of 7.25 Crores and Uttarandhra rights fetched Rs 5.12 Crores for the makers. As per trade analysts, the film’s entire pre-release business is expected to cross Rs 75 Cr mark, which will be highest ever for NTR.

Currently, the production unit is busy canning a song on NTR and leading actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Hyderabad. Young hero Nithin visited the sets yesterday and he was pleased with NTR’s dances.

Meanwhile, Janatha Garage is slated for release on August 12th.
