Why Dil Raju Lost Baahubali?

Ever since the distribution rights of Baahubali: The Conclusion are sold to Asean Enterprises, it has kicked up a storm in the industry, especially in Nizam where the Telugu films enjoy over 40% of its market. While the film’s first part (Baahubali: The Beginning) was distributed by Dil Raju in Nizam, one is wondering what went wrong and what led to Dil Raju losing the craziest project.

Going into reports, Dil Raju himself messed up the whole thing which costed him the distribution rights of Baahubali 2. Apparently, Raju didn’t give the numbers to Baahubali makers after the film’s blockbuster performance. A distributor has to give complete details of film’s overflows to its producer but Raju has evaded Arka Media Works.

Since then the makers of Baahubali said to have taken a conscious decision to not to give part 2’s theatrical rights in Nizam to Dil Raju. And as decided, they haven’t even informed Raju about closing the deal. With this, Dil Raju has lost several crores of profit to be made by upcoming magnum opus.
