RGV Is Irreparable Character!

Maverick film maker Ram Gopal Varma has once again proved that he is the most controversial character in the film industry who does not want to be repaired for his convoluted thinking.

At a time, when the entire country, particularly classical music lovers’ community has been in deep sorrow over the demise of legendary Carnatic singer Dr Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna, this so-called ace director chose to react in a different way.

He tweeted on Wednesday: “I grew up on Bach, Beethoven and Mozart and never cared about karnatic classical but I love mangalampalli for what he has not ever done. RIP”

Well, what is the need for RGV to react on Balamurali Krishna’s death, when he never cared for Carnatic (he doesn’t even spell it correctly – he says karnatic) classical? And what has Mangalampalli not ever done to classical music? If he had grown up listening to western musicians, fine. But why making unsavoury comments against the all-time great singer like Mangalampalli?

Let him buy the CDs of Mangalampalli and listen to them when he is in good mood. Then, he can make a comment!
