Mega Star’s Shock To Balayya!

If everything had gone as per the initial plan, Balakrishna’s 100th film was supposed to be Krishna Vamsi’s Rythu. However, director Krish stepped in with a historical epic called Satakarni and floored Balayya, and allegedly spoiled Vamsi’s plans.

With Satakarni winning his heart, Balayya had decided to put Rythu on the backburner and stated that Rythu would be his 101st film. In fact, Balayya had officially stated it and even all the pre-production works were in place. When everybody thought it would go onto floors, this time the major shock come in form as Amitabh Bachchan. When Balayya and Vamsi had all the way gone to Mumbai to get Amitabh’s okay to do the role of president in the film, the response from Amitabh wasn’t in favour.

But this hasn’t gone well with Balayya who said that he wouldn’t do the film if Amitabh won’t act. Meanwhile, Puri came in and he got Balayya’s consent. And it’s now Balayya’s 101.

While there were no exact reasons for Amitabh turning down Rythu, it was then buzzed that Amitabh was busy with his commitments in Hindi and he couldn’t accommodate regional film Rythu. Although it was just special role that requires very less number of dates, Amitabh couldn’t take the offer resulting in almost shelving of the project putting crores at stake.

Now the latest is that Amitabh Bachchan had given his nod to work with Malayalam actor Mohanlal. Big B will be acting in Mohanlal’s next film “Randamoozham”. This now talking point in industry circles. While this would be Amitabh’s third film with Mohanlal, his no to Balayya’s Rythu is what irking many Balayya fans.
